The Trip

Our planned trip will take us from our home country of England, in particular Birmingham to Canada. On the way we hope to go through Russia, Mongolia, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Loas, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. All of this will be done by travelling by train and bus.

From Singapore we will travel by sea through Indonesia to Australia, where we will spend time working and travelling around. We will also visit New Zealand and the Pacific Islands before leaving for South America, how we get there hasn't been decided yet, but we hope to carry on without the use of aircraft. The route from here is not planned but we expect to make our way up from South America to Mexico then the USA and finish in Canada before returning to the UK.

As we all know the best laid plans come unstuck and we fully expect there to be some variation to this route, so don't be surprised if we end up spending a year in Thailand because we couldn't be arsed moving off the beach!
